Skin Food has been the multi-tasking beauty hero for dry skin since 1926 and has transformed from a cult secret into a beauty insider's go-to.
If you're a makeup artist or beauty enthusiast, you’ve likely heard the buzz about Skin Food - the cult-favorite skincare essential loved by professionals worldwide. This rich, ultra-nourishing formula isn’t just a moisturiser; it’s a multi-tasking powerhouse that can elevate your makeup game in unexpected ways.
Face and lip mask
Apply a layer of Skin Food to face and lips for ultimate hydration, including 5 minutes before makeup application.
Even out rough patches
Skin Food is ideal for smoothing out dry and rough skin patches on the face and body, including elbows, knees and knuckles.
Additional face hydration
When the skin on the face is very dry, use Skin Food either alone or mixed in with usual moisturiser.
Makeup primer
Skin Food doubles as a light yet deeply hydrating moisturiser and pre-makeup primer, allowing a more even and longer lasting coverage.
Dilute base colour
To achieve a more sheer wash of makeup coverage, add Skin Food to the base product.
Sheer out colour
Mix Skin Food with face or body foundation, blush, bronzer or any powder product to sheer out the colour and then apply. For the face, you only need a pea-sized amount of the product to blend.
Highlighter
Mix Skin Food with any powder highlighter, or take a small amount of Skin Food on the back of your hand and with fingers pat onto cheekbones, brow bone, down the bridge of the nose and the cupid’s bow to create a fresh and dewy look.
Create a custom eyeshadow
Use Skin Food as a medium for eyeshadows and glitters if you want a softer finish.
Add glitter, without the glue
Skin Food is a great way to add glitter without using a thick adhesive. Pat a little Skin Food on your eyelids, add glitter with a brush and pat it where you want it.
Tame brows and flyaway hair
Apply Skin Food to your brows using a spoolie to manage them effortlessly, ensuring a smooth finish without any chalkiness, while keeping them neatly in place. Rub a pea size amount of Skin Food original in hands before smoothing over hair.
Additional body hydration
Add Skin Food to your body moisturiser to create a butter type product with boosted hydration. This also works as a tan extender.
Hand and foot mask
Skin Food can provide an intense moisturising treatment to dry hands and feet.
